Shelter Cove
Wildfire Resiliency and Community Defense Project

Trees Foundation is providing project management for this essential work in Shelter Cove, a remote region of the Lost Coast.

The Shelter Cove Wildfire Resiliency and Community Defense (SCWRCD) project is possible thanks to funding from the U.S. Forest Service and the USDA Community Wildfire Defense Grant. The SCWRCD project provides FREE home risk assessments and hazardous fuel reduction services to every parcel in Shelter Cove.
