Friends of Elk River seeks to build lasting bonds between watershed and community. We advocate for a healthy forest and a clean river, with the restoration of beneficial uses– good for people, good for fish– to 1987 pre-Maxxam conditions.

While Friends of Elk River continues to engage the state’s flawed regulatory process, with the support of Trees Foundation we are expanding towards building community awareness of our watershed and its history.
