Southern Humboldt Wildland Readiness Drill and RT-130
This training is a great opportunity to connect and work with our extended fire community and fire departments. It also satisfies the annual wildland qualification requirement for the RT-130 and is a perfect opportunity to get position task book sign-offs.
Funding for this training is provided through Humboldt County Measure Z Public Safety/Essential Services, the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection’s Business and Workforce Development Grants, and Redwood Region RISE California Jobs First funding, so once again there is no charge!
Last year we had over 170 firefighters involved and we almost reached capacity. It is possible that we may hit capacity this year, in which case it will be first come first serve. The attached flyer has the registration information.
Here is the registration form link:

We aim to email all registered participants their assignments and training materials a week before the training so everyone can be well prepared. Feel free to share this training invitation with others who you feel may benefit and bring value to our fire community!
Please note: Students enrolled in the Wildland Academy should not register for the WRD / RT-130, they will be signed up automatically.
