Southern Humboldt Wildland Firefighting Academy
The Wildland Firefighter Training spans two weekends:
May 27, 28, 29 and June 5, 6, 7.
This academy provides the entry level training required to qualify as a Firefighter Type 2 (FFT2) Wildland Firefighter. The 45 hours of instruction and field exercises will be offered over the course of two weekends.
PREREQUISITES: IS-100.C Introduction to the Incident Command System
NIMS IS-700.B Introduction to the National Incident Management System
L-180 Human Factors in The Wildland Fire Service
