Salmon River Spring-run Chinook Symposium

Salmon River Restoration Council (SRRC) and Salmonid Restoration Federation, with the support of California Department of Fish & Wildlife, Catena Foundation, and Humboldt Area Foundation, will co-host the Spring-Run Chinook Symposium on July 23 – 24, 2026 . The symposium will take place in Forks of Salmon in conjunction with the Annual Cooperative Salmon River Spring Chinook & Summer Steelhead Dive. It will feature both presentations and field tours, offering opportunities to learn more about Spring Chinook research and recovery efforts in the Klamath Basin, and view restoration projects in a Spring Chinook stronghold.
