Attn Contractors: Shelter Cove RFP released
The Shelter Cove Resort Improvement District (SCRID) is pleased to announce the release of a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the Undeveloped Private Parcel Fuel Reduction Project, a component of the Shelter Cove Wildfire Resiliency & Community Defense Project (SCWRCDP) funded through the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Community Wildfire Defense Grant (CWDG).
SCRID is seeking qualified contractors to perform hazardous fuel reduction and fire-hardened landscaping on approximately 427 acres of undeveloped private property located within the Shelter Cove community.
Project Summary
- Six (6) Treatment Units (A UP through F UP)
- Approximately 68–72 acres per Treatment Unit
- Hazardous fuel reduction on undeveloped private parcels
- Selective vegetation treatments using hand crews and portable equipment
- Work to begin as soon as environmental operating windows allow in August
Contractors may submit proposals for one, multiple, or all Treatment Units
Proposal Schedule
RFP Release: June 29, 2026
Proposal Deadline: July 21, 2026, at 5:00 PM (Pacific)
Anticipated Award: On or about July 28, 2026
Proposals must be submitted electronically through the ArcGIS Survey123 Proposal Form.
