Welcome to Our New Website!

It had been over a decade since our website had anything more that minor changes, so we knew it was time for a major overhaul.

Our content is now easier to view and navigate from any digital device, whether you’re looking to read stories from our quarterly magazine, Forest & River News, or if you’d like to learn more about Trees Foundation or the over 30 grassroots environmental groups that we support.

We encourage you to dive in and explore our Partner Groups section, where you can view in one place numerous grassroots efforts to defend, restore and bolster the resilience of North Coast ecosystems in the face of industrial pressure and climate change.

We will be continuing to add Forest & River News content to our website on a regular basis, so please check back frequently, and if an article inspires or informs you, please consider sharing it on social media so that more people can connect with important and inspiring environmental protection and restoration stories. Also consider making a donation through our giving platform, where it now just takes a few simple steps to send essential financial support to Trees Foundation or our Partner Conservation and Restoration partners.

This website revamp project was made possible by generous grants from the Bill Graham Supporting Foundation and The Rose Foundation for Communities and the Environment. We would also like to send a heartfelt thank you to Eli Madrone and Madrone Communication for turning our vision into a reality. As the environmental challenges continue to evolve on the North Coast, we too will continue to respond and adapt to support the grassroots.
